Aurora Foundation, which celebrates its 10th anniversary, promotes the cultural integration of Japan and the U.S.; it encourages those concerned with that goal, including teachers interested in Japanese language and young people who have unique aspirations related to Japanese culture. Through the charity golf tournament, Aurora hopes to broaden the circle of international cultural integration not only to the Los Angeles Nikkei community, but also throughout Southern California. The proceeds from the tournament will also help fund scholarships that Aurora awards every year.
